GENT London has teamed up with Italy based artist Warios to produce these amazing one-of-a-kind, hand-painted artworks on an authentic vintage luxury trench coat
In 2015, Warios become part of the international group of "Calligraffiti Ambassadors", a selection of the best graffiti and calligraphy artists around the globe. During his career, he has participated in numerous exhibitions and international events and has collaborated, and currently collaborates with many brands and customers in the world of fashion and design.
Warios' first approach to writing was at a very young age, around 12/13 years, late 90s. He was immediately fascinated by the world of graffiti in all its forms, he started with “bombing” in the street, every opportunity was good to leave a tag and paint around, the goal was to make my name known and to gain respect.
For Warios, painting was an escape from the difficult reality that he was living in that period. He often “closed” myself in graffiti and left the world outside. He lived on the outskirts of Rome and doing graffiti for himself and his crew was a way to elevate themselves from what they saw around them, a peripheral reality that offered only a few ways out.
